B E A U T I F U L L I F E

Over the past several months a couple significant happenings have occurred and photography fell to the wayside as I focused on faith, discernment, travels, and studying. Taking a step back has been good in many ways, as it let new things fall into place.  There is a time and place for everything after all.  However, when faced with warm temps and sunny skies this afternoon, I couldn't let my camera sit unused any longer.

It felt so good to get out and take pictures again; to fall back into the groove of something formerly so familiar, a “coming home” of sorts. While frolicking, I reflected on the time that has passed in the last 6 months. I've visited 6 countries and 9 states, gone from having every intention of moving to Omaha to perusing college for the first time in my life, fallen all the more in love with Catholicism, grown in hope, trust & gratitude. Relationships have been strengthened, best brownie-recipe-ever discovered, love of buying + reading books intensified.... among hundreds of other blessings.

This life is a beautiful one.

In the recent days/weeks/months I've posted less and less (between blogger, fb + instagram), and I've decided it's time for that to change. My intention for Advent is to be more open & share more both IRL & with my internet buddyz. As Fulton Sheen said, "Love means fellowship, not isolation.". In keeping to myself I'm not loving as I ought. Sharing is caring, ya know. In other words, brace yourselves. Yo gettin' spammed, y'all.

What has been beautiful in your life recently? What are your aspirations this Advent?

    1. I love you. My dinner last night may or may not have been the same thing....hehe! Have you ever tried Bark Thins? Recommending them is a dangerous thing because they're slightly addicting. And expensive. But so good. ;)

So, Mariah know that you have a buddy here going through similar life struggles. Wish I was there to give you a real hug, but for now a virtual "hug" will have to do. :)

    1. I'm always amazed at how God brings just the right people into our lives at just the right time. You have been such a blessing to me. I'm so grateful to God for the friendship He has let fall into place for us. <3

Virtual hugs are just as good.... *hug* ...someday we'll have a real one. :D

    2. I thank God for our growing friendship! Woman need other like minded ladies in their life, not only as prayer warriors for each other but also just to talk and share what's on their heart. It could be anything from our favorite JPII quote to our choice of tea to possible Italian husbands. Oh and we can't forget to talk about those little Italian babies ;) ♥
